Questions I often received from clients
How much do you charge per website?
The budget for each project depends on its scale and requirements, my minimum rate for a basic 5-page website is $2000 USD.
What if I already have a website? Do you do redesign?
Most of my projects actually redesign of existing website. I can help improve the visual as well as the conversion to help you achieve your goals or implement new technology, features that fits your business needs.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
You need to have a clear idea of your goals for the website and any existing brand assets (logos, photos, etc.). I can help you organize and sort things out during our discovery call.
Will my website work on mobile and tablets? (responsive design)
100%. In today’s world, “mobile-friendly” isn’t a feature; it’s a requirement. I make sure that your website looks good in most devices from an iPhone mini to a 27-inch monitor.
How are we going to communicate if we were to work together?
We’ll have a direct line of communication via email or WhatsApp (Zalo if you’re in Vietnam). I use Notion as management systems that allow you to see exactly what I’m working on, what’s coming next, and where we are on the timeline. You’ll never have to wonder, “What is Binh doing today?”
Is there any hidden fees?
I also don’t like it when there’s some surprise fee when paying the bill. The budget that includes in the proposal is final and only change unless there’s any changes in scope and approved by you – the clients.
Why should I hire you instead of a big agency?
Agencies often have high overheads and move slowly because of internal procedure. When you work with me, you’re getting the same high-level expertise (design + dev + SEO) without the “middleman.” You get faster replies, a more personal touch, and a partner who is genuinely invested in your business growth.
Why shouldn't I just use a $20 freelancer from Upwork?
“Cheap work is expensive”. You get what you pay for. A cheap site often comes with “bloated” code, broken templates, and zero to little strategy. Freelancers who are selling cheap sites need to have high turnover rate to make up for the cost, so they can’t spend time investing in any singular project. I don’t just “make a website”; I build a scalable business tool. I save you money in the long run by doing it right the first time so you don’t have to pay someone else to fix it later.
Do I actually own the website when we’re done?
Yes, absolutely. I’ve heard horror stories of designers “holding websites hostage.” Not here. Once the final payment is made, you own 100% of the code, the assets, and the domain. I’m here to build your house, not own it.
Since technology, security and internet keeps evolving, updates are inevitable, so does your website. I do offer maintenance package helps handling your website so you can focus on your business.
Which platform do you build on? (WordPress, Webflow or sth else?)
My weapon of choice is usually WordPress (with BricksBuilder and Woocommerce – for ecom site) because of its incredible scalability and ease of use for clients (40% of existing website on the internet already using WordPress). However, I’m a geek for the “best tool for the job.” During our discovery call, I’ll consult you on which platform fits your specific business goals, budget and guide you towards a right path.
What happens after the site is launched?
I don’t just “ghost” you! Once we launch, I offer Website Maintenance packages (exclusive to my design clients) to keep your site secure, updated, and running fast. Think of me as your long-term technical partner.
You can manage the website by yourself but I highly recommend that you have at least a technical person in-house or a tech-department.
