Introduction and Brief🎯
This case study presents the conceptual design for Cafe Slow’s website. All images and content is reserved to its rightful owners.
Cafe Slow is one of my favorite coffee shops to hang out with friends or just when I need some peace and quiet to read or write. You can find Paperbacks in Saigon‘s bookshelves there (who is my web design client – you can visit their case study here), you can browse and checkout amazing books to enjoy with your coffee.
For this project, I wanted to practice designing and building a vetical header menu compared to the traditional ones. The design will also align with the existing logo of Cafe Slow (which the owner drawn by hand), the simple black and white color and simple typeface, make space for the great images that Cafe Slow already have.
I had the honor of sitting down and chatting with the owner shortly after the COVID-19 about how Cafe Slow came into existence. The passion and his personality is shown throughout the coffee shop, from the coffee bar to the garden.
